Obviously community safety has to be the number one priority. To keep the festival safe, it would have been so small that it wouldn’t make sense for community partners and vendors.

Finding Alternative Event Formats
Blue Ridge Pride is exploring alternative, small-scale events with local vendors, partners and festival organizations: such as using Pack Square Park in September, outdoor movie-in-the-park or a small-scale rally. So as soon as we know something, we'll let you know.

Just be careful and stay safe. There's a lot going on with Covid and unemployment and demonstrations.
